Mercedes-Benz Melbourne supports Hobsons Bay Community Fund

Mercedes-Benz Melbourne was proud to be the main sponsor of the recent Hobsons Bay Community Fund Business Lunch held at Williamstown’s historic Seaworks Maritime Precinct.
The Hobsons Bay Community Fund was established to benefit and strengthen the community of Hobsons Bay for present and future generations. The HBCF has so far distributed more than $250,000 to 100 local charities and organisations in the area.
In addition to being one of the premier business networking opportunities for Melbourne’s western district, income from ticket sales for the lunch went directly to support local community causes.
Guests were treated to a 3-course lunch by George Calombaris’ Hellenic Republic, with wines by Treasury Wine Estate, whilst surrounded by 6 stunning Mercedes-Benz vehicles.
Guest speakers were State Member for Werribee and the Treasurer of Victoria, Tim Pallas MP, Paul Wheelton AM KSJ, owner of the largest Budget Rent-A-Car franchise in Australia and Vaughan Blackman, Dealer Principal of Mercedes-Benz Melbourne.
Of Mercedes-Benz Melbourne’s partnership with the event, Vaughan said “Mercedes-Benz Melbourne is privileged to be a part of this community. It is fantastic to see the Hobsons Bay area thriving and continue to grow, and that the community is passionately driving that. Above all at MBM we want to ensure that you come first and that Everything We Do, is Driven by you.”
